Join Arts for ACT Gallery, located at 2265 First Street in downtown Fort Myers on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm for the opening reception and Meet the Artist for the May Fort Myers Art Walk. This month, ACT Gallery will feature the ACT Artist Rebecca Christopher. Featured Artist – Rebecca Christoper Rebecca Christoper started drawing and painting at a young age, and by the teen years, her hobby had grown to a passion. Her focus in her early years was watercolor portraits. Rebecca moved to New York, obtained a job, and had little time for art. She married, moved to Tallahassee, Florida and had twins and art was weigh laid, except for doing chalk drawings with her children. During the COVID pandemic, Rebecca finally had time to pursue art again. Rebecca began to play and discover the possibility of abstracts. In watching pour videos, she decided to mix her acrylic with pouring medium, then swept the mélange of premixed colors onto a canvas and let the color guide her. Vee
