Join Arts for ACT Gallery, located at 2265 First Street in downtown Fort Myers on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm for the opening reception and Meet the Artist for March Fort Myers Art Walk. John Rizza permanently relocated to the Fort Myers Beach area in 2019. After retiring from a 45-year career in the Golf industry working to beautify many courses. Retirement now provides the ability to spend his time with his first love and passion to create Art. “characters and captures…recording our people and places” is an exhibit that many visitors and art lovers will appreciate. It will be fun to try to recognize the people and places from around Southwest Florida. John’s work includes “Plein Air” paintings including landscapes & wildlife plus his love figurative pieces, portraits. John is also available to paint commissions. He is an award-winning artist. Education: New York Art Students League, Woodstock Art School and New York State University at New Paltz working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. As well as many workshops in person & online. This exhibit continues through Monday, March 31, 2025.
